Everything comes off in order and goes back on in reverse: cloth, pockets, rails, bed sections, then frame and legs, each piece wrapped as it leaves.
On a long run the load matters more than on a short hop, because the pieces spend an hour or two on the road instead of ten minutes. Slate is strapped rather than wedged and timber is padded against itself, so nothing arrives marked by the journey rather than by the job.

What the number is built from.
- Home to home move. We do not charge extra for stairs on a three piece slate table.
- We will not move one piece slate tables up or down stairs.
- Outside steps up to a raised house, which is a stair job whatever the inside looks like.
- The distance between the two addresses, which on a state-wide job is a real part of the price.
- Whether new cloth goes on during the move, which beats bringing a crew back for it.
A picture of the table and one of the approach will sharpen the number more than any description.
What finished looks like
We here at New Jersey Pool Table Movers guarantee all of our work. If you use our services and feel that we did something incorrectly, or that your table is becoming unlevel, we will come back out to fix the issue. This is good for six months after your service is completed.
Our normal appointment times are at 8 or 9 am and 1 or 2 pm. There is an additional $30 fee for any job that starts after 5 pm, on a Saturday, or on a Sunday. There is an additional cost of $30 if we need to carry the table up stairs on an installation. We will only move one piece slates up or down stairs under certain conditions and for an additional charge.
